Status codes 452454 and 470477 indicate errors that originated within the Massive network. Any other status code — including a plain 500, 502, or 503 — was returned by the target site and is passed through unchanged. Every Massive-generated error also includes an X-Massive-Reason response header with a short machine-readable cause. Codes 400, 407, and 429 are unchanged. The Previously column shows the code that was returned before this scheme was introduced.

SOCKS5 errors

The SOCKS5 protocol has no response headers, so error information is limited to the reply code in the CONNECT response: Applications that need more detail can use the HTTP(S) endpoint, which returns the full set of status codes and the X-Massive-Reason header described above.
