typeThe type of device to target. Possible values: mobile, common, tv.
Supported Devices
  • mobile to execute request on mobile devices.
  • common to execute request on any non-mobile device.
  • tv to execute request on tv devices.
Example using query parameters:

This parameter can be used in combination with all other options. The following request targets a mobile IP in New York State and assigns it a persistent session:

     https://cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace

Multiple device types

Provide a comma-separated list to match any of several device types. The following request targets a mobile or tv node in the US:

     -U '{PROXY_USERNAME}-type-mobile,tv-country-US:{API_KEY}' \
     https://cloudflare.com/cdn-cgi/trace
An unrecognized type value returns HTTP 400.
